Though we didn’t score phonenumberscan.com as highly as the phone detective we still found that the interface and ease of using their service was almost as good and was at a high standard. The company have a very good size database and finding information from a phone number should not pose you any problems.

After you enter a cell or landline phone number you will be presented with a screen of information that their database has recalled to you. From here you simply choose what level of information you require. Again there is the option for an unlimited search membership or you can just choose a one-off search payment so it’s nice they offer this flexibility depending on your intended usage. Having said that we found that phone number scan can be quite expensive if you do not opt for the lifetime membership. If you only want one or two searches you are better off with the phone detective, however if you need to search for multiple numbers then this service comes recommended.

Our third phone lookup provider is ‘Reverse Mobile‘. Despite their name, they offer you the option of finding mobile, landline and unlisted telephone number details.

The database on this site seems to be adequate, however not as big as the two providers above. Pricing is similar to the other providers and the site is simple to use too. Simply add the number you want to check into the search box on the home page and you are set. The record that you get looks similar to the Phone Detectives and offers different options depending on your needs.

A typical result will give you “Full Name and Full Address associated with the number, Cell Phone or Phone Carrier information, Date of Birth, Phone Numbers, Dates of Issuance.”

Last but not least is ‘USA Phone Lookup‘. While we found there to be nothing wrong as far as database, results, ease of use and options were concerned with USA phone Lookup, it is in fourth place simply as the overall experience didn’t seem as smooth as the other three providers.

Having said that the information was clear and easy to understand and pricing was also competitive. If you decide to use this service you will not likely be disappointed however you may benefit from a smoother experience by choosing one of the above first.
